PadovaCampus is a university residence funded under the PNRR – NextGenerationEU
Academic Requirements
You are enrolled (or undertake to enroll by October 31, 2026) in a degree course at a public university, a legally recognized non-public university, or an AFAM institution.
Personal Requirements
- You are between 18 and 30 years old on the start date of the contract
- You have no criminal record or pending criminal charges
- You do not have medical conditions incompatible with community living

Rooms are allocated through a merit-based ranking system:

In case of a tie:
The priority criteria are:
- Duration of stay: Considering the specific nature of university student housing, which is strictly dependent on academic activities throughout the entire year, and to prevent partial occupancy of the Residence—thereby protecting the objectives of the PNRR framework—priority is assigned to candidates who specify a stay of 12 months or longer in their application.
- Younger age: In the event of a further tie, priority is given to the youngest candidate.
- Chronological order: As a final residual criterion, the date and time of the application submission through the portal will prevail.
The Two Available Quotas
70%
Allocated directly by PadovaCampus
70% of the rooms are allocated directly by PadovaCampus through the merit-based ranking system.
30%
Selected by Regional Bodies
30% of the rooms are reserved for deserving students lacking financial means, selected by regional bodies for the right to education (DSU). This quota is not managed by PadovaCampus.
Late Applications
If the application deadline has passed, any remaining rooms will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to meeting the requirements of the Call for Applications. Please check our official channels for availability.

How the
Room Allocation Works
1. Publication of the Call for Applications
Every year, PadovaCampus publishes the official Call for Applications containing requirements, criteria, and timelines. This is the sole reference document for the selection process.
2. Submission of the Application
Fill out the online form in the “Access the Call for Applications” section. Submitting an application enrolls you in the selection process—it is not a reservation and does not guarantee automatic room allocation.
3. Data Collection & Verification
The information you enter is used to verify requirements and compile the ranking list. PadovaCampus reserves the right to request additional supporting documentation for any declared data.
4. Ranking List Formulation
Eligible applications are ranked by merit according to the criteria. Candidates indicating a stay of at least 12 months are given priority.
5. Room Allocation
Rooms are allocated following the ranking order and based on the availability of room types. Preferences expressed in the form are taken into consideration but are not binding.
6. Outcome Notification
The outcome is communicated via email through the oHicial PadovaCampus channels. No individual phone notifications will be made.
7. Confirmation & Start of Stay
Successful applicants will receive via email all instructions to confirm their room and start their stay within the timeframes specified in the Call for Applications.
